1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using VacanCV (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you disagree with any part of the terms, you must not use our Service.

Service Definition: VacanCV is a Career Technology & Coaching Provider. All subscription fees and payments are for access to the Sarah 3.1 Forensic Intelligence Engine, automated CV engineering, and personal career coaching services.

1973 Employment Agencies Act Compliance: In accordance with the 1973 Act, VacanCV does not charge "Work-Finding Fees." We do not guarantee employment or specific job placements. Our fees are strictly based on the provision of technology, market intelligence, and coaching instruments.

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.

2. AI & Service Disclaimer

VacanCV utilizes advanced Artificial Intelligence (including Gemini 2.x models) to provide recruitment insights, CV generation, and interview coaching.

Accuracy: AI-generated content may occasionally be inaccurate or biased. Users must review all AI outputs (CVs, cover letters, scoring) before use.
Employment Guarantees: We provide tools to assist your career or hiring process, but we do not guarantee employment for seekers or successful hires for businesses.
No Professional Advice: Insights provided by Sarah (our AI assistant) do not constitute professional career or legal hiring advice.

3. Subscriptions & Payments

Business and Premium seeker plans are billed on a subscription basis (Monthly or Annual).

Billing: Payments are processed via Stripe. You agree to provide current and complete billing information.
Cancellations: You may cancel your subscription at any time. Access will remain until the end of the current billing period.
Refunds: Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis in accordance with UK consumer rights regulations.

4. User Accounts & Content

You maintain ownership of all data you upload (User Content). By using the Service, you grant VacanCV a non-exclusive license to process your content solely to deliver the requested AI features. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.

5. Limitation of Liability & Indemnity

To the maximum extent permitted by UK law, Hudsys Ltd shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from your use of the Service, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of business opportunities, or inaccuracies in AI-generated reports.

Professional Indemnity: Hudsys Ltd maintains comprehensive Professional Indemnity Insurance. However, we are not responsible for decisions made by third-party employers or candidates based on the intelligence provided by the Sarah 3.1 engine.

Secondary Supply Chain / IR35: For permanent and contract placements, VacanCV is not responsible for secondary supply chain tax liabilities, including but not limited to Umbrella company tax or IR35 compliance for the end client.
